Star Summit Day 2 started with the inauguration at 9.30am. The chief guest of the day is Mrs.B. Jayashree, Principal Scientist & Head, The Hindu Media Resourse centre at M.S.Swaminathan Research Foundation. She works for media & communication for over 2 decades over traversed sectors of HIV/AIDS prevention, child health, Nutrition, Water and Sanitation besides agriculture and food security.
Madam was impressed with amount of work done. Appreciated the effort of students and faculty and put forth a message to all. She told us to transfer the knowledge gained through research to the public and make use of it. She encouraged the students to utilise social media to share the research and make it useful to the society.
All the judges and peer judges were amazed seeing the spectacular presentation by the students.
