The collaboration includes the exchange of faculty, researchers & students, research publications, academic programs, research projects and for conducting joint teaching & research Programmes.

We bridge the gap between disciplines and pull through academic and clinical excellence globally. At international level we have built enhancing relationships, country to country programmes crossing the boundaries.

Academic Collaborations

International Universities/ Institutions Collaborations:-

Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals signed an MoU with University of Maryland, Baltimore, MD,USA. This MoU facilitate student and faculty research projects, Clinical trials, students and staff exchange programs, internship programs for students, fellowship programmes, doctoral and post doctoral programmes for faculty and students      

SaveethaDental College & Hospitals, has been the centre for MFDS (Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery).  Examinations which Dr. Abdul Wahab and Dr. Madhu are appointed as examiners by Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons , Glasgow. 

Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals signed an MoU with Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. This MoU facilitate Student and faculty research projects, fellowship programmes, doctoral and post doctoral programmes for faculty and students.

Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals signed an MoU with School of Biological sciences, University of Plymouth, UK to facilitate Student & Staff exchange programs, faculty & student research projects, Clinical trials, fellowship programs for students, doctoral and post doctoral programmes for students. 

Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals joined hands with School of chemical engineering & Analytical Sciences, University of Manchester, UK through an MoU. This MoU facilitate student & Staff exchange, Research Projects, Clinical trials, Doctoral and Post Doctoral programs, fellowship programs. 

Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals signed an MoU with Charles Darwin University, Australia to facilitate the Student and faculty research projects, doctoral and post doctoral programmes for faculty and students.

Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals signed an MoU with Guanghua School of Stomatology, Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU), China. This MoU facilitate the student & Staff exchange programs, Research Projects, Clinical trials, Fellowship for students, Internship programmes for students.

Saveetha Dental college and hospitals signed an MoU with ABM University Health Board, Special Care Dentistry, UK. This MoU facilitate to conduct student and faculty research projects, Clinical trials, Student and staff exchange programs, Internship programs for students and fellowship programs, Adjunct Faculty. 

Saveetha Dental College & Hopitals and Skillpedia based at Oxford, Uk have entered into Memorandum of Understanding on 13th May 2017. The scope of this MoU is tp provide platform for conducting webinar in specialised areas. This includes inviting experts from global arena.

Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals signed an MoU with Department of Genetics, Dr.ALMPGIBMS, University Of Madras, India. This MoU facilitate Student and faculty research projects, Doctoral & Post doctoral programmes for student and faculty. 

Department of Biochemistry, University of Madras, Chennai, India and Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals, have signed an MoU for doing research Projects together.

Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals joined hands with University VIT for research collaborations. The major area of research interest would be Research on STEM CELL. 

Department of Biochemistry, Saveetha Dental College and Hospitals signed an MOU with Biogen care research centre, Chennai on 20th January 2017. The centre offers Technical expertise in Phytochemistry, Nanotechnology, Genomics and various fields in life science. 

MoU signed between Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals and Aaranya Biosciences Pvt Ltd, Chennai on 4th day of March 2017. Dr Savithiri Shivakumar, Director, Aaranya Biosciences Pvt Ltd was very interested with the infrastructure and facilities at Saveetha Dental College. Her research centre offers facilities in predictive organ toxicity assays, cytogenetics, preimplementation genetic screening, next generation sequencing and flouresence insitu hybridization. MoU shall serve as a platform for further innovative research. 

Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals and Regenix super speciality laboratories Pvt Ltd entered in to a Memorandum of Understanding on 4th day of March 2017. Dr. Sunbramanian, Director, Regenix super speciality laboratories Pvt Ltd visited our dental college and discussed about the continuing dental education programme and symposiums which will be a part of this MoU.

An MoU was signed between Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals and Dr. M. Krishnaraj, Director, Apex Biotechnology Training and Research Institute on 6th March 2017, MoU will be carried forward in materialising future workshops, symposium and research project guidance.

Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals signed an MoU with Dr. Seethalakshmi Illanchezian, Director, Life TeckResearch Centre, Chennai on 11th March 2017. The core of this MoU focuses on specialized research techniques like Animal Cell Culture and Molecular Genetics for undergraduate and Post graduate students. 

SDC Signed Memorandum of understanding with Institute of Bio- Medical Research , a In house R& D unit recognized by Department of scientific & Industrial research, Ministry of sciences & technology, Government of Indian on 8th April 2017. The MoU paves a platform for research in stem cell Biology, Embryology and Human Genetics for Undergraduates and Post Graduates.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Friday between Saveetha University (Among the nation’s prestigious seats of education covering a diverse range of subjects that include Medicine, Dental Surgery, Engineering, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Law and Management) and Chennai`s leading trainer and well known solution provider - TwinTech Academy Business Management Solutions Pvt. Ltd on 03rd April 2017.

MOU between Saveetha Dental College, finest institutions in the world with a unique curriculum with a blend of the best practices and School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Vels University known for 25 years of service in Pharmaceutical Education and research with its state-of-the art infrastructure and experienced faculty members mainly aims in novel drug formulations for management of oral mucosal lesions especially potentially malignant disorders .

Memorandum of Understanding was signed with “Enable BioLabs India Private Limited” and Saveetha Dental College, Saveetha University by Dr. Arvind Ramanathan on 16th March 2017. Enable BioLabs (EBL) was established by Dr. Arvind Ramanathan in 2010, at Urapakkam, Chennai. EBL provides a hands-on learning environment to acquaint the clinicians and clinical students with patients sample collection protocols, sample storage and transport conditions and techniques in molecular biology, biochemistry and bioinformatics. EBL extends research support for PhD thesis and PG dissertation, academic support to draft proposals for grant applications. 

Life care phyto lab basically an manufacturing, R & D laboratory which focus on quality of the herbal medications. The purpose of the MoU is to utilise the herbal extracts they market for the research study for faculty and students . Department of Biochemistry, Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals signed an MoU with Jayagen Biolabs on 29th May 2017.  Jayagen Biolabs is pioneer centre that provide technical and analytical support to student and professionals as well. This MoU aims at research collaboration between the institutions. Collaboration is extended across biomedical research designing, performing various short term and long term research and sharing knowledge between the institution and the laboratory.

Dr.Deepak Nallaswamy , Director of Academics, Saveetha Dental College signs MoU with Ms.Priya Sankar, CEO of Biovnovemto have collaborative work on drug design using bioinformatic tools on 8th May 2017.

Margadarsi Counselling & training centre signed MOU for training with Saveetha Dental College, Saveetha University on 29th May 2017. The purpose of the MoU includes CBT for training insomnia & depression, neurobics for stimulating right and left brain leading to creativity and innovations.

The Indian Red Cross society is a voluntary humanitarian organization having a network of over 700 branches throughout the country, providing relief in times of emergencies and promotes health & care of the vulnerable people and communities. It is a leading member of the largest independent humanitarian organization in the world. The Mission of this MoU with Department of Public health dentistry, Saveetha Dental college withIndian Red Cross is to inspire, encourage and initiate at all times all forms of humanitarian activities so that human suffering can be minimized and even prevented and thus contribute to creating more congenial climate for peace.

Dr.Preethi Raj , Asst.Professor, Dept of Nutrition, Director, woo nutrition signed MoU with Department of Biochemistry, Saveetha University. This will promote research in nutrition amount the students.

Industry R & D collaborations:-

We believe in growing together and this has laid a seed for teamwork. Our collaborations with industries facilitate student & faculty research projects, Clinical trials, exchange programmes, internships for students.

Saveetha Oral Cancer Institute is honoured to tie up with the Rotary club.An MOU was signed between the Oral Cancer Institute and Rotary club of Royapettah as an agreement to conduct Cancer awareness camps. It was agreed that Rotary club would organise and conduct free cancer screening camps in and around Chennai , and refer patients to SaveethaOral Cancer Institute,  who are from backward sections of society who could not afford treatment. This is yet another social service initiative by Saveetha dental college as a commitment for upliftment of marginalised sections of the society.

 KKR, ENT Hospitals and Research Institute, Kilpauk, Chennai, India and Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals, have signed an MoU with regard to basic sciences training of DNB candidate of KKR ENT Hospitals & Research Institute (P) Ltd, the training shall be provided in accordance with the prescribed National Board of Examinations.

Dr.Rai – CBCC Oncology services, Chennai, India has an MoU with Saveetha Dental college & Hospitals for giving radiotherapy for Cancer patients being operated in the dental collge. The radiptherapy services are located in the Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals itself. 

Department of Biochemistry, Saveetha Dental College, facilitated a Hands-on Workshop in “Insilico Tools in Dental Research” by Biozone Research Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Chennai for first year BDS students. Applications of insilico tools in research in dentistry was discussed and students were encouraged to think and come up with short research project ideas.

Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals, Saveetha University have signed an MoU with Institute of Lingual Orthodontics, Delhi, India. This MoU facilitate in developing customized Lingual Orthodontic bracket systems and for clinical and research guidance for student and faculty.

Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals has entered into a collaboration with BABA CLINICAL GENOMIC RESEARCH CENTRE, Taramani, Chennai, on 14th November 2016.  Memorandum of understanding includes hands on training on molecular techniques, to conduct workshops, collaborative research projects, industrial visits, invited lectures, to conduct in-house faculty development programmes to benefit the student community.
