Class II direct posterior composite- Hands On

Creating tight anatomic correct proximal contacts remains difficult when placing direct posterior composite restorations. This problem is based on several potential mechanisms, including that composite cannot be ‘condensed’ as can amalgam, which leads to an insufficient adaptation of the matrix towards the adjacent tooth and polymerization shrinkage of composite. The choice of the matrix system and separation technique is an important factor, present dentistry sectional matrix band is used for creating anatomically tight proximal contact.

This course highlights on live demonstration and Hands on course on  Class 2 composite restoration using sectional matrix system.
