Dr. Mahendran Sekar, Associate professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry University of Kuala Lampur, Malaysia was the speaker of the day. The webinar was really excellent and he presented his highly advanced and interdisciplinary state of art research findings with recent innovation through natural products. The webinar could motivate the young minds of participants to think about developing various innovative products. It was really interactive and discussion.

The lecture focused on the importance of pulpotomy, case selection and its techniques. The lecture also highlighted the role of regeneration in endodontics.

Soft Tissue Regeneration
Department of Periodontics, Saveetha Dental College, conducted a one-day CDE workshop on Soft Tissue Regeneration on 19th January 2022. The workshop consisted of didactic lectures by Dr Ashvini Padhye, Professor and Head, Periodontics, MGM Dental College, Navi Mumbai, followed by live surgery demonstration and hands-on training on animal jaws. The participants in the workshop and were exposed to soft tissue regenerative materials like Mucograft and Fibroguide. This workshop truly enhanced the scientific knowledge and clinical skills of the participants enabling them for a successful and satisfied clinical experience.
