Department of Oral Pathology organized a Guest lecture on “Importance of Basic Sciences in Clinical Practice” by Dr.T.Elangovan MDS, Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologist, Director, DT Smile Care. Dr. Elangovan changed the mundane approach of the students towards dentistry to a more inspiring outlook. He motivated the students to face the challenges during their early years as stepping stones towards their future career. With anecdotes, stories and interactions, the lecture was well received and appreciated by the students. The students stated that this was one of the fascinating Lectures they had attended. Dr. Elangovan also distributed prizes to the toppers of the First Module Examination.
